Is there anything specific that can be done after 15 months? I was justing waiting for someone to look at my case at DOL. Can you please shed some more light on this?
I tried to find information on the web, but I could not find anything anything particular to a case pending for 15 months or more.

Got medical RFE at 485 stage.Here are RFE details :
The civil surgeon's signature on the supplement Form to I-693 submmitted with your application to adjust status is photocopy and is therefore unacceptable.Your original Supplement Form to I-693 is hereby returned to you in the enclosed sealed envelope.Take this letter and your enlclosed Supplemental Form I-693 to the civil surgeon who administered your vaccinations.ONLY THE CIVIL SURGEON SHOULD OPEN THE SEALED ENVELOPE.The civil surgeon must verify that he or she completed the Supplemental Form to I-693 and place it in a sealed envelope before returning it to you.

Durbin likes to have it both ways - be perceived as being pro-immigration (for his work on behalf of Hispanic illegal immigrants) but also being the champion of unions. I think he might respond if he starts to get labeled as anti-immigrant. He will not want to start to get the label of being someone who opposes immigrants. But I'd probably stick to the flowers and make it IV's signature. When the media hears about another flower campaign, they'll know something big is up and that the person getting the flowers is being targeted for an important reason.

Yes, at the time of adjudication, you will need employment varification letter that shows Permenent Full time job with same or similar duties and reasonable wage difference.

This does not give you EAD status. It is just a pre-registration. EAD is given at actual I-485 filing and not at pre - registration.
And this rule has been discussed by USCIS over for few years, but never implemented. And implementing it only adds one more additional step to the journey, with no EAD benefits.

There should be tighter provisions against multiple applications [via multiple employers]. it prone to abuse - as a way to increase chances of lottery [as it happened this yr].
There is no real justification in multiple applications - though one might argue otherwise. In the end, the candidate has to work for only one employer.
Interesting stats would be how many mulitple employers applications were filed per candidate, not sure if uscis publishes them!

I entered the US as a student in Jan '99 and did a couple of trips on my F1 visa and since I got my H1-B approval notice in 2001, I never left until last December '07 and returned with a stamped H1-B visa.
I would be "ok" if they asked for all returns since 2001 as that's when I actually started working and used the H1-B, but why is he asking for returns from 1999, I have no clue...
That's why I mentioned it feels like he wants to deny my applicatoin. Can he deny it if I can't produce the returns for '99 and '00 even though I filed my returns and the IRS can't produce evidence that I did or didn't?
I do have the W-2's from '99 and '00...
Any ideas/help from senior members or someone that had a similar situation?
If you have w-2's you just need to fill 1040NR-EZ and send it back to the requesting officer. I don't understand what is the problem in fill a form and signing it and sending in the copies of it... what difference does it make if it was filled in 1999 or 2008 as it will be the same thing.... if they have a problem ask them to verify it with IRS which I am sure they will not able to do as there is no way so they have to accept what you submit... just my $0.02.. ask your attorney about this...

Applied (E-filed) on 4/19/2010 LUD on 4/26/2010 received receipt notice in a week.So far no finger print notice . I did received finger print twice in the past when I applied for EAD even though they took finger prints for I-485.
I heard that finger prints obtained at port of entry will be good for other immigration related applications.

Sure moonlighting should definitely be ok.
Will being a fellow be ok too? Its open only to internists, but is a training program in oncology. Its only 2 years, and looking at to current rate of processing, I should be done by the time my PD (sept 2006) is current.

Do you know what more 'info' is? Did you ask that guy what info he needs? I renewed my PA license for 3 times. I had no problem. Just show whatever documents listed on website for people on visa or EAD.

I came to US 5 years back in H4. My husband processed GC and 140 is cleared and 485 pending. I got my EAD and now working. My husband and I have problems and he is threatening to ruin my life.
Can I know a few things
1. Can he take me out of the GC ?
2. Can he revoke my EAD ?
3. Can my employee extend my EAD which is expiring in 2010 and continue my GC.

PDs are typically recaptured at I-140 stage. Since your EB2 140 is already approved, you cannot use this process.
But I believe there is another state at which you can recapture PD. i.e. @485 stage. You would need to talk to your lawyer - or search for it in immigration forums. If say EB2 dates are current for your EB3 PD , you can file 485 and with that application itself submit the EB3 140 approval AND ask for PD transfer. One of our lawyers had once commented you can port PD at either 140 or 485 stage - we never followed up on the 485 part as we all wanted to keep it safe and at 140 stage. Check with your lawyer and you still have a good chance.

You are right only if they dont want to use EAD after they come back. If they use EAD once they come back to USA, then they are back to adjustee status.
Well..you can fall back to H-4 if something goes wrong with 485. But if you are on AP you will have to leave the country.

Go for GC , not career. You can get good career whenever you want, but you cant get GC whenever you want. Once you get GC you can apply for 150k job wherever you want, any company you want. With h1 you cant do that.
